FINAL Tank


The FINAL Test System used to investigate the performance of Airbag inflators. It simulates the different airbag sizes 60l, 90l and 120l. The airbag modules are mounted in the cans and a sealed airbag cushion is inserted. After ignition, the cans can be easily cleaned and the bags reused as often as desired.

Test Results

The tank offers different prepared mounting positions for sensors. The pressure and temperature occurring after ignition can be measured and evaluated in our software. The results of the pressure curves are very similar to the dynamic impact test. But the low testing costs of the FINAL Test System offer a big cost advantage over the elaborate impact tests.

High Speed Cameras

Lighting Systems

In order to achieve the best image quality of the high-speed cameras, a lighting system is absolutely necessary. The integration of different lighting technologies (LED, HMI, Halogen) ensures sufficient illumination of the impact area. The ceiling mounted lighting system is arranged that no shadows can be seen in pictures.
