Wet Quenching Car
The Quench Locomotive is the key of having sucess in cycle time of coke plants. HuDe Quench Locomotives can be used as bucket car pulling unit and/or for pulling wet quenching cars. Controlled acceleration and deceleration ensures smooth handling of the equippement. All locomotives are designed individualy to your needs and can be used for implemantation in new or existing coke plants.

Main Performance Data
HuDe Locomotives are well known to improve the performance of transporting hot coke. The HuDe locomotives can reach below 6 minute cycle time (depending on plant layout) and includes different back up systems to guarantee a completion of the cycle.
Travel drives
Travel drives are customized to different track gauges up to 2.500mm. Optimized drives ensure the proper transfer of the forces to the rail track. The travel drive is powered by high reliable motors, low maintenance gear box and mounted to multi wear wheels or forged wheels.
Cabins
Main components to operate the locomotive need to be protected against the harsh enviroment of a coke plant. HuDe cabins are most suitable to avoid dust accumulation inside the cabin. For long lifetime of cabins, as a standard cabins comes with stainless steel walls and proper insulation to increase the lifetime of the equipment.
Electrical system
Bringing machines alive the right electrical equipment need to be choosen. The HuDe locomotives comes with the best suitable PLC and electrical components. Main brands used in our Loco´s are Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider.
Hydraulic system
We custom design the hydraulic system to the highest standard with a view to low maintenance, taking into account the load profiles. The hydraulic system meets precisely the technical requirements for operating bucket or wet quenching cars.
